Hosted by the NC State Women’s Center, Feminist Fridays aims to create a community of scholars who believe in collaborative leadership through engaging in critical discourse and reflection and provides an opportunity for transformative learning through discussion, counter-storytelling and refuting the dominant narrative often attributed to marginalized populations.

Free Expression Tunnel

Express your creativity at the Free Expression Tunnel — a heavily trafficked underpass that connects the university’s north and central campuses. Designated a graffiti-friendly zone in the late 1960s, students can tag the tunnel’s walls as they see fit.

Group Counseling

Counseling in a small group setting can help you feel less alone. It connects you with other students who are going through similar struggles, creating an environment of social support and encouragement.

QTPOC

QTPOC (Queer and Transgender People of Color) centers the lived experiences of African American, Hispanic/Latinx, Asian American, Native American, multi-racial, and communities of color who identify as LGBTQIA+, and provides a space for students to share their experiences, discuss how their identities influence each other, connect with other students who are navigating multiple communities and…

Queer Quorum

Queer Quorum opens up the GLBT Center to a variety of intersectional, student-picked discussion topics. The first and last Tuesday of every month features a different student dialogue facilitator who chooses the month’s topic and leads participants in a thought-provoking discussion. This event creates space for dialogue and affirmation of queer and intersecting identities.

The Oval

While on Centennial Campus, head to a grassy open area surrounded by four engineering buildings and the Hunt Library to relax and unwind. Enjoy the outdoor plaza and check out the nearby art installation.

Wellness and Recreation Outdoor Adventures

WellRec maintains the university’s challenge course, climbing center and hosts a variety of trips throughout the year. The center and gym also rents out equipment to the campus community. Be sure to bring your Wolfpack One card or Wellness and Recreation member ID to check out any outdoor equipment.
