Academics and Research
Wellness isn't just a key aspect of life at NC State; it's a consistent focus of our education and discovery.
Preparing the Wolfpack for Wellness
Education about health and well-being equips our students, faculty and staff with tools to embrace — and solve — complex social, community, emotional, physical, purposeful and financial challenges.
NC State is home to colleges and academic departments that focus on health and exercise, humanities and social sciences, textiles, engineering, agriculture and life sciences, natural resources, veterinary medicine, music and exploratory studies. Simply put, well-being is an inherent part of our university’s curriculum and campus culture.
Spotlight on Research
The Wolfpack Wellness Research Web Series is an initiative to highlight the great research being conducted by NC State faculty and staff. Join us the third Friday of every month at 2 p.m. for a series of short talks (30 minutes on average) about their research and its connection to health and well-being.
Each talk will be recorded and made available on the Wolfpack Wellness YouTube channel.
