Academics and Research

NC State prepares Wolpack for a wellness-infused world.

Education about health and wellbeing equips our students, faculty and staff with tools to embrace and solve complex social, community, emotional, physical, purposeful and financial challenges that the future holds. NC State has colleges and academic departments that focus on health and exercise, humanities and social sciences, textiles, engineering, agriculture and life sciences, natural resources, veterinary medicine, music, and exploratory studies. Simply put – wellbeing is an inherent part of our university’s curriculum and campus culture.

Spotlight on Research

The Wolfpack Wellness Research Web Series is an initiative to highlight the great research being conducted by NC State faculty and staff. Join us the third Friday of every month at 2 p.m. for a series of short talks (30 minutes on average) about their research and its connection to health and well-being.

Each talk will be recorded and available on the Wolfpack Wellness YouTube channel.
